Manual-entry registrations are subject to a $10 administration fee. 
Late registrations (if accepted) are subject to both a $10 late fee & $10 manual-entry fee, and individuals may not be included in seeding.

 

The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
Friday: 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm (Boys' Singles, followed by Girls' Singles)
Saturday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm (Girls' Singles (cont.), followed by Boys' Doubles, then Girls' Doubles)
Sunday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (Girls' Doubles (cont.), followed by Mixed Doubles)

TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE/ESTIMATED AND WILL BE UPDATED ONCE REGISTRATION CLOSES. PLEASE ALLOW FLEXIBILITY.

 

PANDEMIC PROTOCOLS
All coaches, parents, officials, and potential spectators will be required to show proof of vaccination (QR code + government-issued photo ID) to be allowed tournament and building access. 
Athletes 18+ years of age, as of the tournament dates, will be required to show proof of vaccination.
At this time, athletes under 18 are not required to show proof of vaccination.
Masks are to be worn by all, at all times, with the exception of participant athletes while on the field of play.

(Please note that Manitoba is currently one of the only provinces able to run any competitions in our sport. To keep junior competition possible and to ensure viability of our tournaments and competitions throughout this season, we do highly suggest vaccination to all athletes born in 2009 or earlier.)

Refund Policy
Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.

Availability 
Players must make themselves available for the entirety of the event, and personal situations will not be taken into consideration for timing purposes.
Due to the speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready well ahead of their posted schedule. It is ultimately the player's responsibility to be present for the start of their match.
The tournament will enforce a strict 10-minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.

Clothing
Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes

Equipment
Participants must bring their own racquets
