Brandon Badminton Club
The Brandon Badminton Club plays on 6 courts in the newly renovated Henry Champ Gym at B.U.'s Healthy Living Centre. The club has been meeting twice a week for more than 30 years and welcomes players of all levels: high-school, B.U. and A.C.C. students and adults from the WestMan region. Brandon, being the second largest city in Manitoba has a great potential for Badminton to be a marquee sport. Many provincial players have came out of Brandon and to this day several players from this club travel to Winnipeg Tournaments throughout the winter season. The Brandon Badminton Club is also host to the Westman Open, a sanctioned Rural Super Series tournament for recreational/competitive players that guarantees 3 matches/event, lots of great prizes and lots of friendly faces.
