REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Athletes must register through their Provincial Sport Organization by January 4, 2016.
Coaches must register for their Badminton Canada Coaching Accreditation Badge through their Provincial Sport Organization by January 4, 2016. Coaches must have completed their NCCP Regional Coach trained (level 1)

Les athlètes doivent s’inscrire avec leur organisme provincial de sport à la date indiquée dans la province de que vous représentes. Les PSO/TSO soumettra toutes les inscriptions approuvés à Badminton Canada le Mercredi 6 Janvier, ici 2016.
• Les entraîneurs doivent s’inscrire pour leur accréditation d’entraîneur de Badminton Canada avec leur organisme provincial avant la date limite du tournoi posté. Ceci est le même délai que l'enregistrement de l'athlète. Les entraîneurs doivent avoir terminé leur Niveau du PNCE entraîneur régional formé (niveau 1)
ELIGIBILITY:
To be eligible for the Canadian National Badminton Championship, all athletes must meet the following requirements:
1) Yonex Senior National Championship – Competitors must be a Canadian citizen validated by a Canadian passport or birth certificate. Identification must be presented at the time of registration to your PSO/TSO
2) Must be a member of a P/TSO that is in good standing with Badminton Canada.
3) Must not have played in any badminton championships restricted to another country within one calendar year of the date of the event.
The competition will be conducted under the official rules of Badminton Canada and the BWF.
ADMISSIBILITE
Pour être admissible à participer au Championnat canadien de badminton, tous les athlètes doivent répondre aux exigences suivantes :
1) Championnat canadien senior Yonex – Les participants doivent être des citoyens canadiens et détenir un passeport canadien ou certificat de naissance canadien. Une carte d’identité doit être montré au moment de l’inscription au tournoi avec votre APS.
2) Doit être un membre d'un APS qui reste en bonne réputation avec Badminton Canada.
3) Ne doit pas avoir joué dans un championnat de badminton réserve a un autre pays au cours de l'annee civile précédant la date du tournoi.
Les participants adultes doivent signer un formulaire de renonciation avant le début du tournoi.
Les formulaires de renonciation pour les mineurs doivent être signes par un parent ou un tuteur avant le début du tournoi.
La compétition sera effectuée sous les règlements officiels de Badminton Canada et la BWF

EVENTS:
Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
Consolations will be held for all competitors defeated in their first round match of the main event. It will be the responsibility of each athlete to notify the draw desk, within 30-minutes of their opening round defeat.
ÉPREUVES:
Simple masculin, Simple féminin, Double masculin, Doubles féminins, et Doubles mixtes.
Il y aura des consolations pour les joueurs qui auront perdu lors de la première ronde du tirage principal. C'est la responsabilité de chaque joueur d'informer la table de contrôle dans un délai de moins de 30 minutes suite à la défaite du joueur.
TOURNAMENT FEE
Single Tournament Entry Fee of $155.00 includes:
1. All shuttles during tournament play
2. Participation in up to three events: singles, doubles, and mixed
3. Athlete banquet: Saturday from 18:00 – 20:00 @ Winnipeg Winter Club, Hosted by Urban Prairie Cuisine

WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Badminton Canada must be notified of ay withdrawal by a player / pair from the tournament.
For withdrawals made before entry deadline the refund policy will be set by the Provincial Association of the player /pair permanent residence.
For withdrawals made before the entry deadline there is no penalty involved applied by Badminton Canada
Withdrawals made after the entry deadline but before the draw date are not eligible for refunds.
Withdrawals made after the draw date for any reason, renders the PSO/TSO liable to an amount of $25 per player / pair to Badminton Canada.
PSO/TSO fee will be waived for players with proven injuries that make it impossible for an athlete to compete provided documentation from a doctor is provided.
LA POLITIQUE DES RETRAITS:
1. Badminton Canada doit être avisé du retrait de tout retrait par un joueur / paire du tournoi.
2. Pour les retraits effectués avant la date limite d'entrée la politique de remboursement sera fixé par l'Association provinciale de la résidence principale du joueur / paire.
3. Pour les retraits effectués avant la date limite d'entrée il n'y a aucune peine encourue apliqué par Badminton Canada
4. Les retraits effectués après la date limite d'inscription, mais avant la date du tirage ne sont pas éligibles pour les remboursements.
5. Les retraits effectués après la date du tirage pour une raison quelconque, rend le PSO / TSO passible d'un montant de 25 $ par joueur / paire de Badminton Canada.
La frais de PSO / TSO sera levée pour les joueurs avec des blessures éprouvées qui font impossible pour un athlète à concourir en cas que de la documentation d'un médecin est fourni.
ENTRY DEADLINE
The tournament entry deadline is set by the Provincial Association of player/pair permanent residence, no later than January 4th, 2016.
DATE LIMITE D'INSCRIPTION:
La date limite d'inscription au tournoi est fixé par l'Association provinciale de résidence du joueur/paire, plus tard le 4 Janvier, 2016.
PRIZES AND SHUTTLES:
Medals will be provided to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
Official shuttle will be YONEX feather shuttle.
Shuttles will be provided for all matches.
PRIX ET VOLANTS:

SEEDING:
The seeding will be done by the BCAN seeding committee using the BCAN seeding regulations for Open events
CLASSEMENT:

RULES:
The 21-Rally Point scoring format will be utilized. Three-minute warm-up and ten minute default will be strictly enforced. The use of protective eyewear is strongly recommended during play.
REGLES:
Le format de pointage < 21-Rally Point > sera utilisé. Une période de trois minutes pour l'échauffement et de dix minutes suivant l'appel du joueur pour entrainer la disqualification seront strictement gérées. Le port de lunettes protectrices en polycarbonate pendant le jeu est fortement recommande.
UNIFORM REGULATIONS
Any athletes participating in the Canadian National Championships or Canadian Junior and Under 23 National Championships may only have their NAME and/or CLUB/PROVINCE written on their competitive playing clothes. This rule does not apply to the athlete’s warm-up clothing.
Any coaches on the field of play during the Canadian National Championships or Canadian Junior and Under 23 National Championships may only have their NAME and/or CLUB/PROVINCE written on their coaching apparel.
Only athletes and coaches who are currently or were previously part of a Badminton Canada sanction team shall be allowed to have CANADA written or represented by a Canadian flag on their competitive playing clothes or coaching apparel, respectively.
REGLEMENTS POUR LES UNIFORMES
Tout athlète qui participe au Championnat canadien senior Yonex ou au Championnat canadien junior/M23 Yonex ne peut avoir que son NOM et/ou son CLUB/sa PROVINCE sur ses vêtements de compétition. Cette règle ne s’applique pas aux survêtements pour l’échauffement.
Tout entraîneur sur le terrain de jeu pendant le Championnat canadien senior Yonex et le Championnat canadien junior/M23 Yonex ne peut avoir que leur NOM et/ou le nom de leur CLUB/PROVINCE sur leurs vêtements.
Seulement les athlètes et les entraîneurs qui sont présentement sanctionnés par Badminton Canada ou qui l’ont déjà été peuvent avoir CANADA écrit sur leurs vêtements de compétition ou le drapeau canadien.
