How can you get involved with the Canadian Badminton Championships in a fun and engaging way?
There are a number of ways to get involved, and the hosting committee is exciting to have you join the team!

Volunteer Drivers
Here's an opportunity to meet and talk to Canada's best badminton players, at this year's Nationals.
We need drivers for the shuttle from the hotel to the Winter Club. Each shift will be 2-3 hours, days or evenings during the Nationals 3-6 Feb.
If the last Nationals are any guide there should be 3-4 round trips every hour, and usually the van is full both ways. You'll take/turn over the van at WWC where snacks are available, so all you need to bring is yourself.

Ticketing
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of the hospitality of the championships. Greeting fans at the door and taking admission fees throughout the semi-finals and finals.
Ticket booth volunteers are needed for the following times:
Friday - 4:00pm - 9:00pm (Semi-Finals)
Satuday - 11:00am - 4:00pm (Finals)
Draw Desk
The draw desk is the control centre of the tournament and therefore 2 volunteers are needed at all times. The draw desk consists of calling matches, entering scores and making semi-regular announcements. The volunteers should be comfortable with a computer and able to multi-task.
Wednesday - 3:30pm - 9:00pm
Thursday - 8:30am - 9:00pm
Friday - 10:30am - 3:00pm
