Manitoba Badminton Association (MBA), in accordance with the laws of the Canada Revenue Agency,
must begin collecting and remitting GST on all services,
and therefore we are notifying the membership and patrons of MBA that they will now see a GST charge on all program, event, and membership purchases, both online and in person.
The additional requirement to collect and remit GST is due to the fact that our programming and taxable income has steadily increased over the last 8 years,
taking us well beyond the GST exemption threshold for non-profit organizations.
