SKILLS CLINIC
Thursday - Only Thompson athletes are able to attend this clinic. Athletes should have a basic knowledge of badminton and be interested in learning skills. Minimum age is 12 and there is no maximum age.
Friday - Only athletes coming in from outside of Thompson are able to attend this clinic.Athletes should have a basic knowledge of badminton and be interested in learning skills. Minimum age is 12 and there is no maximum age.

Tournament Description
Welcome to the Yonex Norman Open Badminton Tournament, the newest addition to the Yonex Manitoba Rural Super Series!
Players of all ages and skill levels can feel like a pro when they enter the Norman Open. The Rural Super Series tournaments are designed to bring the professional look and feel of our larger club tournaments to the areas of Rural Manitoba that badminton could potentially thrive. Not only does MBA get a chance to scout players from all over Manitoba, but athletes of all ages get to experience a well run badminton tournament without travelling to Winnipeg to do so.
Referees, Umpires, Tournament Software, Prizes, T-Shirts, Signage and lots of friends are just some of the reasons why this tournament will be one that you don't want to miss!
Rules and Regulations:
Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless requests are accompanied by a medical note or immediate family crisis.
Availability: Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the events that they are registered for. MBA will not accept special requests for time, for any reason.
Due to speed of play being unpredictable, participants are asked to be ready a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their posted match. It is ultimately the player’s responsibility to be present for the start of their match.
The Tournament will enforce a strict 10 minute disqualification rule and 3-minute warm-up rule.
Clothing: Participants must have an indoor change of clothing and non-marking athletic shoes
Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets
