Tournament Description
Come on out and have some fun at the Yonex Eastman Open Badminton Tournament! Players of all skill levels and experience, from beginner to advanced are encouraged to participate!
Since it's inaugural season in 2011 this tournament has grown from 45 players to a record 105 players last year. The tournament moved from Whitemouth to Steinbach Comp Sec School in 2012 and 2013, Steinbach Comp and Christian High School in 2014 and now this year we will be hosting all events in Steinbach Comp Sec School as they have completed renovations to have 2 gymnasiums!
About one half of players last year came from Winnipeg, with the other half being comprised of Rural Manitoba which included Eastman, Interlake, Central and Westman.
Winners of the Open category get their names engraved on the Eastman Open Trophy which is currently held at the MBA Office.
