Presented by Sport Manitoba, this session features Jackson Katz, an educator, author, former all-star football player, acclaimed lecturer, and pioneer in gender violence prevention education and critical media literacy.  He is the co-founder of the Mentors on Violence Prevention (MVP) program that works with professional and college athletes. Jackson is the director of the first worldwide domestic violence and sexual violence prevention program in the U.S. Marine Corp., and has implemented training in all major branches of the U.S. military. He has also worked with the B.C. Lions on their Be More Than a Bystander Campaign.  If you have not heard him speak, he has a gift of being able to talk about this issue in a very clear and accessible way, and is not to be missed!
