Starting Times: 

Saturday: Court open at 8:00 AM, Matches start at 8:30 AM - Mens & Womens Singles, followed by  Mens & Womens Doubles/Mixed Doubles 

Sunday: Courts open at 8:00 AM, Matches start at 8:30 AM - Finals and Consolation Finals

Athletes must be prepared to play at any point of the weekend

 

Format: Guaranteed 3 matches

Events: Mens Singles, Womens Singles, Mens Doubles, Womens Doubles, Mixed Doubles

Cost: 1st Event $55.00, 2nd Event $0.00, 3rd Event $0.00 (Available until Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 11:59 PM)

Includes:  Prizes, Saturday Lunch, Shuttles, & Officials

MBA Regional Membership is mandatory. MBA Regional Membership Available During Registration ($10.00)

Late registrations are at the discretion of the Tournament Director and Referee.  Accepted late registrations will be charged a $10.00 late fee.

 

 

Tournament Description:

Come for a great atmosphere, great prizes, plenty of matches and a tournament that is full of fun and excitement.  This 0.5 tier tournament ensures that plenty of ranking points are available without having to compete against "A" players.  It is hosted by 17 Wing Badminton Club who have been hosting this tournament for many years now.

Other Information:

Shuttles: Mavis 350 Nylon Shuttles will be used.

Refund Policy: Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees unless accompanied with Doctor's Note or Family Emergency.

Availability: Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the tournament.

The Tournament will enforce a strict 10 minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.

Clothing: Participants must have a change of clothing and non-marking indoor athletic shoes.

Equipment: Participants must bring their own racquets.
