Badminton Canada Call for Coaches- 2017-2020 Quadrennial

Badminton Canada Call for Coaches - 2017-2020 Quadrennial includes Coaches for Individual Events throughout 2017 Calendar Season.

 

There are six separate coach roles/positions that have being defined for selection. These levels outline different opportunities for coaches at different stages in their careers and levels of experience. They are-

 

1-National Coaches (for the 2017-2020 quadrennial, subject to yearly review)-

a.National Head Coach

b.Junior National Head Coach

c.Para-badminton National Head Coach

 

2-Event-Specific Coaches (yearly applications for events per calendar year)-

a.Event Lead Coach- Lead (head) coach role at specific international events representing Team Canada at both the Senior and Junior levels for that upcoming season

b.Event Assistant Coach- Assistant coach role at specific international events at both Senior and Junior levels

c.Personal Coaches

NOTE: For the Event-specific coach applications, this call is for the 2017 calendar year. The call for event-specific coaches for the 2018 calendar year will come out in September/October of 2017 (exact date still TBC).

All interested parties should complete the Coach Application Forms and all the necessary supporting information. The application deadline is January 30th, 2017. The priority will be placed on selecting the National Head Coaches and then selecting the event-specific coaches, with all selections being completed as soon as possible. All selected coaches will begin to be engaged immediately with the BCan staff and the High Performance Committee (as necessary) to implement the strategic plan for the 2017 season.
