Tournament Description
The Herb Richard Manitoba Open is one of Manitoba's longest standing badminton tournaments, where before the National Circuit days, players would
travel from other provinces to compete in Winnipeg. The Herb Richard Manitoba Open is a premier Badminton Manitoba event that has been named after
Herb Richard who was a long-time coach in Manitoba. Herb was the badminton professional at both the Winnipeg Canoe Club and the Wildewood Club in
his days. He was a dedicated member of the badminton community as a leader, player, coach and builder.
