Prizes Wanted!
Manitoba Junior Badminton is a non-profit organization that runs the Junior Tournaments out of a variety of facilities, paying for the cost of facility rental, shuttles, referree and other tournament costs.
We are asking for families to provide silent auction prizes for our athletes banquet. Prizes can be anything from gift cards to sport gear to anything teens would enjoy! Anything is appreciated!
Just contact one of the Junior Committee members (Barrington Nichols, Allen Tantakoun, Jay Liu, Paul Poirier, and Jay Chen) or Justin to donate any prizes that you have.

U15/U17/U19 Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles

Permanent Manitoba Residents Only
U13 - Born 2006 or later
U15 - Born 2004 or later
U17 - Born 2002 or later

9+ Entries - Single Consolation (Double Elimination Bracket)

Souvenir, 1 Entry to Annual MBA Junior Banquet, Medals, Yonex Feather Shuttles, MBA Officials
Additional Entry Tickets to Annual MBA Junior Banquet available for purchase during registration. These additional tickets are for parents, siblings, friends, etc. who are not registered in the tournament.
Registration Deadline:
Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:59 pm.
Late registrations will be charged a $10.00 late fee and may not be accepted.
Manual entries will be charged a $10.00 fee.
Come out to the 2018 Yonex Junior Provincial Badminton Championships at the Winnipeg Winter Club.
We will crown the provincial champions for 2018.
Western Canadian Team Championships - Team Manitoba Selections
We will also be using this competition to select the team that will be competing at the 2018 Western Canadian Team Championships.

Other Information
Shuttles:
Yonex Feather Shuttles will be used.
Refund Policy:
Badminton Manitoba does not permit refunds of MBA Memberships or Tournament Registration Fees
Availability:
Participants must be available to play during the entirety of the events that they are registered for.
MBA does not accept special requests for time, for any reason.
All participants must be prepared to play during finals on Sunday in order to receive their prize.
The tournament will enforce a strict 10-minute disqualification rule and 2-minute warm-up rule.
Clothing:
Participants must have a change of clothing and non-marking indoor athletic shoes.
Equipment:
Partiipants must bring their own racquets.

Friday: Singles 5:00 pm
Saturday: Doubles begins 9:00 am
Mixed Doubles to follow Boys/Girls Doubles
Sunday: Finals begin at 9:00 am
