The registration for the 2024 Yonex Provincial Senior Championships is now open HERE

The event will take place at Prairie Badminton from Friday April 26 to Sunday April 28th.

The event includes a meal on Saturday at the venue as well as the Players Awards Banquet on the Sunday.

The Manitoba Badminton Association is looking to add some seasonal staff to help run summer camps and outreach clinics in addition to an Admin support role.

Note: The MBA is proud to be subsidizing a shuttle bus from Winnipeg to the event and back.

Interested athletes need to sign up through this form link to reserve a spot on the bus.

A $10 reservation fee will be collected by eTransfer ([email protected]).

Info on the tournament hotel can be found at the link above, discounted rooms are being held until Febraury 22nd.

We encourage all interested players to sign up for the Masters Advance Training sessions taking place on Sunday's at the Winnipeg Winter Club.

Norman Open Shuttle Service from Winnipeg

The Norman Open is returning after a hiatus and we are looking to help support the event by making the trip more affodable. Thanks to funds from the Arts, Culture and Sport in Community Fund (Growing the Game) the MBA is looking to charter a bus to transport athletes from Winnipeg to the Norman Open in Thiompson. The tournament is running March 2 & 3rd and hosted by the Thompson Badminton Club. To ensure that we have sufficient demand for this we ask interested players to fill out the following form (click to the left) to express interest in attending the event. A small transportation fee will be collected per person but the majority of the expense will be covered. The MBA will reserve the right to cancel the shuttle if we don't have sufficient interest for the trip.
