Badminton Manitoba would like to introduce it's new and improved winter badminton program for the upcoming season. The program offers low cost, high quality group badminton lessons in various schools around Winnipeg and other Manitoba communities to help stimulate the growth of badminton within our province. Whether an individual is hoping to improve his/her skills, make some new friends, or learn a new (and FUN) sport, Developmental Winter Programs (DWP) is the perfect option!
The DWP starts the week of October 5th. They run Monday through Saturday at various locations throughout the city. Register early to ensure you get the location you want before its full.
At the core of every badminton program is the coach. Badminton Manitoba ensures that each coach is Nationally Certified to a minimum of Level 1. The resumes of our coaches are certainly impressive, with experiences ranging from our yearly Yonex Summer Camps to the Western Canadian Team Championships. We strongly believe in the abilities of our coaches, as it reflects in our ever growing membership and program participation numbers! Last year upwards of 325 athletes were signed up for our winter programs, and this year we would love to continue this trend; growing and having more people enjoy badminton.
