The first tournament of the year is right around the bend. The Winnipeg Winter Club will be hosting the Canadian Tire WWC Invitational with play beginning on Thursday, January 14 for the locals with out of towners starting at 5pm on Friday, January 15. This is sure to be a big event as everyone prepares themselves for the Nationals being held at the end of the month. Finals will be beginning on Sunday at 11am. Be sure to come out and have fun at a great event.

Events: Men's and Women's Singles, Men's and Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles. A/B/C/D Dropdown Format. Participants will be guaranteed 3 matches if entry warrants.
Entry Fee: $50 1, 2 or 3 Events
All participants must be a member of the Manitoba Badminton Association Inc., an annual membership is $10 and available online.
ENTRY INCLUDES:
SHUTTLES, PASTA DINNER, TOURNAMENT SOUVENIR, AND PRIZES
Draw Times: Will be posted online on Wednesday, January 13, 2010.
Clothing: Proper sport attire, a racquet and non-marking shoes are required.

Rules of Play:
1. Each participantmust be an individual member of the Manitoba Badminton Association. Please direct questions regarding membership to 925-5679
2. Entries must be completed online (see 'ENTER HERE' below)
- entries will be accepted at the Winnipeg Winter Club; Entry fee must accompany form.
3. Ten (10) minute default rule will be enforced.
4. Three (3) minutes will be allowed for warm-up before matches.
5. Players are responsible for determining their draw times. Draws will be posted Thursday, January 13th, or calll 925-5679.
